제목 Preparation of zwitterionic amphiphilic copolymers as coating materials applied in ultrafiltration having anti-protein and -oil fouling properties
초록 A series of random copolymers (PDMs) were synthesized via free radical polymerization using DMAEMA and MAPOSS monomers. PDMs were coated on the polysulfone (PSf) ultrafiltration membranes, and then the PDM coated-membranes were post-modified through betainisation reaction. Therefore, the resulting membrane (PSM coated membrane) has amphiphilic polymer coated layer; hydrophilic groups for zwitterions and hydrophobic groups for POSS. The PSM coated membrane having amphiphilic properties showed dual-antifouling properties against proteins and oils. These antifouling properties were attributed to formation of hydration layer by zwitterionic moiety and existing small portion of hydrophobic moiety. These results should be provide the insight into the multifunctional- antifouling coating materials for on a various surface engineering including membrane filtrations.
