Photoalignment Behaviors of Photopolymer with different spacer length by LPUV Method |
초록 |
In liquid crystal display (LCD) device, the alignment of the liquid crystal (LC) molecules plays the most important role to improve the image quality of LCD. The rubbing process of conventional method cannot satisfy essential demands for alignment quality since the rubbing process has many problems for LCD such as generation of electrostatic charge and dust. Therefore, many method of alignment technique for liquid crystal molecules are developed rubbing free methods. Photoalignment process is well known as one of rubbing free method and is investigated as one of promising candidates that solve the generation of electrostatic charge and dust for the rubbing method. We synthesized the different spacer length(n=2,4,6) photopolymer with imide linkage and cinnamate for enhanced thermal stability and investigated the thermal stability of polymer by DSC and TGA. Photopolymer’s optical properties analysised by retardation of films and white/black image. |
