초록 |
Marine fouling organisms in the underwater lead the ship hull to its surface roughness. In case when it attached on the large vessels, the maintenance cost is increased. One of the potential ways to solve this problem is to coat the immersed surface with the trialkylsilyl ester group-based paints having self-polishing property. In this study, tert-butyldimethylsilyl methacrylate(tBDMSMA) was synthesized as hydrolysable polymer matrix for long-term controlled self-polishing coating. And S-1-dodecyl-S'-(α,α'-dimethyl- α''-acetic acid)trithiocarbonate(DDMAT) was used as a reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) agent with polyurethane and tBDMSMA-b-polyurethane(PU)-b-tBDMSMA triblock copolymer was synthesized by using PU macro chain transfer agent(CTA) in RAFT polymerization. In result, linear tBDMSMA-b-PU-b-tBDMSMA triblock copolymer could be successfully synthesized and chain length of tBDMSMA block could be controlled by RAFT polymerization. |
