Development of 40m Small Angle Neutron Scattering Instrument and Its Applications |
초록 |
Small angle neutron scattering (SANS) is a very powerful technique to investigate the nanoscale structures of a wide spectrum of materials including polymer, complex fluids, biomaterials, magnetic and engineering materials. Currently, a state of art 40m SANS instrument, which can cover Q-range from 0.0005 _1 to 1.0 _1, is being constructed at HANARO and expected to start operation in early 2010. In this talk the current status of the 40m SANS development and recent SANS studies including carbon nanotubes and discotic liquid crystals will be presented. |
