제목 RAFT polymerization and characterization of PS-b-PIL block copolymer including Imidazolium based-ionic liquid
초록 We report the synthesis of diblock copolymer of styrene and imidazolium-based ionic liquid by Reversible Addition - Fragmentation Chain Transfer (RAFT) process and its micelle-forming properties by a change of solvents. The RAFT polymerization of poly(styrene)-b-poly(ionic liquid) was carried out at 80℃ for 30 h using dithiobenzoate as a chain transfer agent. Micelle formation of such block copolymers was observed when a solvent whose solubility differs between the two blocks was added dropwise into good solvent system for both blocks.
