제목 Effect of Pre-aligned Polyimide Gate Insulators having the Cinamoyl Group on the Pentacene Growth and the Performance of OTFTs
초록 Aromatic polyimides are one of the families of high-performance specialty thermoplastics and have been widely applied in electronic fields because of their good thermal stability, chemical resistance, and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. In this study, we have designed cinamoyl group containing polyimide as an organic gate insulator and studied the photo induced anisotropic properties of the polyimide film treated by a linear polarized UV light. By using the anisotropic properties of the polyimide films, we tried to control the growth direction of pentacene crystal in OTFT to improve carrier transport and channel formation. In this presentation, will discuss the pentacene growth mechanism and device performance depend on the film alignment of polyimide insulator.
