제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Waterborne Polyurethane using Nanoclay
초록 Waterborne polyurethane (WPU) which is environment friendly has been rapidly used in coating and adhesive. However, the WPU is deficient in chemical resistance, thermal resistance, and mechanical property compared to solvent based polyurethane. In this study, we used WPU nanocomposite using nanoclay at various content to improve thermal and mechanical properties and adhesive strength of WPU. The WPU was synthesized from polyester polyol, polycaprolactone polyester polyol, polycarbonate diol, 4,4-dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate (H12MDI), dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA), triethylamine(TEA) and ethylenediamine(EDA), organophilic nanoclay.
