제목 | Low temperature synthesis of RGO-gold nanoparticle and its enhanced performance in Cr(VI) detection |
초록 | Metal nanoparticles have been extensively used in recent years for the development of highly sensitive nanodevices because of their unusual physical and chemical properties. Beside pure graphene, the study of graphene or reduced graphene oxide (RGO)-based nanocomposites is also important. The combination of RGO with inorganic particles, such as metallic, semiconducting may result in some excellent materials used as catalyst, electrode in energy storage devices and sensors. In this study, RGO-gold nanoparticle has synthesized by refluxing the aqueous solution of graphene oxide and HAuCl4 without adding any polymer like sodium citrate, chitosan or polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Sodium borohydride was used as a reducing agent for the reduction of graphite oxide as well as HAuCl4 to gold in this reaction. The obtained product had been characterized by XRD, SEM and UV-visible spectroscopy. From characterizations it is reveal that, only 80 °C temperature is enough to reduce GO in this process. Synthesized RGO-gold nanoparticle shows enhanced performance in electrochemical Cr(VI) detection with good response to both current and voltage. |
