Preparation and characterization of sol-gel based PVA/silica film for low water vapor permeability |
초록 |
Polyvinylalcohol(PVA) has been used as a barrier coating material due to their high oxygen barrier property. However, PVA coated film has a poor water vapor barrier level, for reasons of the high solubility of PVA in water. To decrease the water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), the modified coating layer was prepared to reduce the water affinity by interaction between PVA and silica. The characterization of the coated film was confirmed by FT-IR, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), haze meter, permatran. |
