제목 Multilayer in multilayer passivation film improving water vapor-barrier properties of organic interlayer in basic multilayer for organic light-emitting diodes
초록 Multilayer in multilayer passivation film was fabricated and introduced to prevent organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) from the water vapors by incorporating SiO as another inorganic interlayer into polyzinc acrylate of basic multilayer with Al2O3 deposited by PEALD. Each materials, Al2O3, pZA, and SiO, consisting of multilayer in multilayer films showed smooth surfaces. The resulting film was verified by using transmission electron microscope(TEM) and there are no damages caused by temperature(100℃) and plasma power(100W) to OLEDs during fabrication process. In addition, multilayer in multilayer film showed a high transmittance(>95%) and low water vapor transmission rate(WVTR, 1.43x10-4 g/m2day) under accelerated conditions(60℃/90%R.H). OLED devices passivated with multilayer in multilayer film showed prolonged shelf-lifetime during about 3,000 h at 60℃ and 90%R.H and this result confirmed the effect of defect decoupling for stretching the lifetime of OLEDs.
