In this study, polyketone(PK)/graphene nanoplates(GNPs) nanocomposites were prepared to enhance electrical property and barrier property. GNPs in PK matrix significantly lowered the water vapor transmission rate by increasing the tortuosity. Also, the high aspect ratio of the conductive nanofillers increased electrical conductivity at low percolation threshold. In order to make the GNPs dispersed homogeneously in PK matrix, surfactants that can make non-covalent interactions with GNPs were added. Surfactants on GNPs surface not only play an important role to achieve homogeneous dispersion in PK matrix but also improve interaction between polymer and GNPs. Consequently, PK/GNPs nanocomposite films resulted in electrical property enough for preventing electrostatic charge and high moisture barrier property. |
