A new series of N-type random terpolymers was synthesized with an electron-deficient naphthalene diimide-based unit and two electron-rich thiophene and selenophene unit to control the crystalline behaviors of the polymers. The crystallinity of the terpolymers can be well-controlled by tuning the feed ratio of the thiophene and selenophene. These different crystalline behaviors of terpolymers affected the performance of organic electronics such as all-polymer solar cells (All-PSCs). All-PSCs with PTB7 as a donor polymer were fabricated, then there is an increasing PCE tendency from 2.5 to 3.6 % as Selenophene content increase. To comprehend the effects of the crystallinity of random terpolymers on All-PSC performances, we investigated the effects of the selenophene content in polymer backbone on their optical, electrical, and structural properties. |
