제목 Highly Efficient All-Polymer Solar Cells: Better Flexible Photovoltaic Devices Than Polymer-Fullerene Ones
초록 Polymer solar cells have shown great potential as flexible and portable power generators. These devices should offer good mechanical endurance with high power-conversion efficiency for viability in commercial applications. In this work, we developed highly efficient and mechanically stable PSCs based on all-polymer solar cells (all-PSCs) composed of polymer donor and polymer acceptor. These systems exhibit one of the highest PCE values among the reported all-PSCs (6.64%). Also, our all-PSCs had even better performance than the control polymer-fullerene devices with phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as the electron acceptor (6.12%). More importantly, our all-PSCs exhibited dramatically enhanced strength and flexibility compared with polymer/PCBM devices. The superior mechanical properties of all-PSCs makes them much better candidates for applications in flexible and portable devices.
