제목 Enhanced angiogenic paracrine factor secretion from human stem cells triggered by organic light emitting diode
초록 Low-level light therapy has been reported as a potential means to improve tissue regeneration. However, previous studies were focused on tissue irradiation only. In this experiment, we showed that specific light treatment can significantly influence biological systems in adult stem cells (hADSCs). The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of OLED treated hADSCs on ischemic hindlimb model. OLED treatment to hADSCs enhanced therapeutic angiogenesis in ischemic tissue by improving cellular functions. in vitro tests showed that OLED treatment hADSCs induced increment of angiogenic paracrine factor gene expressions with enhancement of cell adhesion and migration ability compared to normal hADSCs. Hindlimb ischemia model was induced in mice and OLED treated hADSCs were injected. OLED treated hADSCs showed significantly enhanced angiogenesis, blood flow, and limb salvage ratio compared to normal hADSCs injection.
