Redox-responsive core cross-linked micelles of poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(glycidyl methacrylate) for drug delivery |
초록 |
The synthesis of redox-responsive core cross-linked micelles was carried out using “click” chemistry. Poly(ethylene oxide)-b-poly(glycidyl methacrylate) (PEO-b-PGMA) was prepared by the reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization using PEO-based macroinitiator and subsequently functionalized with azido groups. The core cross-linked micelles of the azide-functionalized PEO-b-PGMA-N3 were controlled using a disulfide-containing cross-linking agent. The anticancer prednisolone acetate drug-loaded core cross-linked micelles exhibited excellent stability under physiological conditions, while they underwent rapid dissociation in dithiothreitol (DTT) reduction circumstance, resulting burst release of drug. These redox-responsive core cross-linked micelles enhanced cytotoxicity against human breast cancer cells in vitro. |
