The mechanisms that increase the Raman signal using the sers substrate are electromagnetic mechanism (EM) and charge transfer (CT), and when both are used simultaneously, a tremendous amplification effect can be obtained. To this end, many studies have recently been conducted on the fabrication of SERS (Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering) substrates in which new metals and 2D nanosheets are combined. To use EM and CT at the same time, the fermi energy level for CT and hot spot for EM must be considered. Therefore, we simultaneously proposed a monolayer of Au nanoparticles (AuNP)/shaken MXene bi layers for EM and CT operations to enhance the Raman signal of Rhodamine B bound to the MXene surface to support hexavalent chromium (VI). MXene is expected to be used in a wide range of detection applications as a large amount of molecules can be bound due to functional groups located outside the SERS substrate. |
