Chain-growth Condensation Polymerization of Well-defined Poly(arylene ether sulfone)s with Initiators Containing a Pyrene Motif |
초록 |
A series of well-defined poly(arylene ether sulfone)s were synthesized by chain-growth condensation polymerization (CGCP) with initiators containing a pyrene motif. The initiators have one or two pyrene units covalently linked via amide bonds to one or two fluorine initiating sites, activated by the amide carbonyl group at para position and the trifluoromethyl group at ortho position. The initiators were expected to initiate CGCP of the AB type monomer, 4-fluoro-4’-hydroxydiphenyl sulfone potassium salt. Photoluminescence properties of polymers were depended upon the characters of initiators in combination with the degree of polymerization and solvents. |
