Metal nanostructures have been used as catalyst, sensors or in biomedical treatment fields, due to their unique optical and electrical properties revealed in nanoscale size. Various fabrication methods, including electrodeposition, solvothermal and galvanic replacement have been developed to achieve various metal nanostructures. Among them, galvanic replacement is promising method for gas sensing nanostructure fabrication, because of their facile control ability of size and shape of materials by simply adjusting parameters(time, temperature). Moreover, selective decoration is possible on only the targeted spot. Selective decoration of Pt on CuO line pattern showed the stable gas sensor signal specially on the gas channel, since it doesn’t interfere the pathway, and act simply as a catalyst in the main channel. In this research, we discovered the CuO channel’s catalytic phenomena that is selectively decorated by Pt in the CuO main channel ,which is made up from SSL. |
