Currently, most cancer treatments have a variety of serious side effects, such as serious hepatic problem, due to lack of tumor selectivity. Therefore, controlling the drug to be released to the target at the desired time and site is an important part for the practical application of the therapeutic agent. In this study, a photo-labile linker (PLL) was synthesized, which can be used in drug delivery system (DDS) to enable an on-off control in response to photo-stimulation. The linker is capable of producing 60 nm-sized MOFs after purification of impurities and releases drugs as they are decomposed by UV at 365 nm. It will be used in a variety of applications in drug delivery systems that allow sustained drug release in response to stimuli as it prevents drug overdose, increases drug efficiency, and prevents unwanted side effects. |
