제목 Synthesis of MnO2/Multi-wall carbon nanotubes(MWNTs) nanocomposites by chemical method
초록 Manganese dioxide (MnO2) was decorated on multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) by immersion of the MWNTs into a solution. MWNTs were modified by acylation reaction and coating of amino terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) (APDMS). Several synthetic method have been studied to prepare MnO2 with different crystallographic structures. MWNTs were loaded into a high-pressure stainless autoclave for decorating with MnO2. The MnO2/MWNTs nanocomposites are shown to be able to take advantages of both the high capacity of MnO2 and the high electron conductivity of MWNTs. The morphology of MnO2-decorated MWNTs were observed by transmission electron microscope(TEM) and scanning electron microscope(SEM). The MnO2-decorated MWNTs were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman spectroscopy and infra-red spectroscopy(IR). The electrochemical behavior of the MnO2/MWNTs nanocomposites were examined by cyclic voltammetry(CV).
