One-step Synthesis of Polymeric Core-Shell Nanoparticles via Redox Initiation System |

Polymeric core-shell nanoparticles were synthesized via redox initiation. Polythiophene and derivate of acrylate were used as shell and core materials, respectively. As a couple agents, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and ferric chloride (FeCl3) were used to carry out Fe3+-catalyzed redox initiation system. Properties of nanoparticles were affected by amount of acryl-type monomer, H2O2, and co-monomer as a stabilizer. The average particle size of the particle was analyzed by DLS. Morphology and inner structure of core-shell nanoparticles were proved by SEM and TEM imaging. Thermal properties of nanoparticles were studied by DSC and TGA method. The optical property of core-shell particles was analyzes by photoluminescence spectroscopy |
