제목 Decene-Functionalized Graphitic Nanoplatelets for increasing the Properties of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-StyreneCopolymer​
초록 The mechanical properties of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS) copolymer was improved by using decene-functionalized graphitic nanoplatelets (DGnP) as nanofillers that were prepared via the mechanochemical reaction between graphite and 1-decene. DGnP/ABS nanocomposites were prepared by using a solution mixing method that enables uniform dispersion of DGnPs into ABS matrix because of the chemical affinity between DGnPs and ABS. Therefore, DGnP/ABS nanocomposites showed the improved mechanical properties (e.g. tensile strength and Young’s modulus) compared with the pure ABS copolymer. In result, DGnPs with aliphatic functional groups will be applied as a new polymer additive that enhances the performance of the various polymers.
