This talk covers the fabrication of 3D periodic porous structures and their application as electrode materials. We demonstrate the fabrication of 3D structures by using colloidal crystal templates using multi-beam interference techniques. We introduce brief review on these methods and templating approach for inorganic 3D periodic patterns. Specifically, various 3D titania structures are demonstrated; specifically, dual templating approach for hierarchical structures is introduced. The application of these structures to dye solar cell electrode are also discussed. |
