Design and characterization of conductive particles based on carbon nanotube-gold nanoparticle hybrids |
초록 |
The emergence of compact, flexible electronics leads to interest in anisotropic conductive films which allow electrical interconnection of IC chips to substrates at low processing temperature. The films consist of electrically conductive particles and insulating polymer matrix. In this study, we designed and fabricated conductive particles with carbon nanotube(CNT)-gold nanoparticle hybrid conducting layer. CNT layers on the surface of microspheres can facilitate the formation of conducting pathway and the adhesion of gold nanopaticles. CNTs were mechano-chemically coated on polymer spheres by dry coating process using Mechanofusion and the gold nanoparticles were self-assembled on the microspheres or CNT through an interaction between gold and thiol groups. The conductivities of the resulting composite particles were measured with four-point probe method, and we discussed in terms of nanoparticles concentration and the fabrication method. |
