Polyimide (PI) has applications owning to its high thermal and chemical stability, high mechanical strength, high electrical breakdown strength. Futhermore, graphene and graphene oxide (GO) have high performances due to high mechanical strength, electrical, and thermal conductivities, making them as the best candidates for nanofillers. Electrospinning is effective technique for making nanofibers. Electrospun nanofibers possess many unique properties including a large specific surface area and superior mechanical properties. In this report, GO-PI nanofiber composites were made by electrospinning poly(amic acid) (PAA) containing 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 5.0 wt% GO, followed by thermal imidization of GO-PI nanofiber composites. The resulting GO-PI nanofiber composites were characterized by FT-IR, TGA, SEM. Dielectric properties of electrospun GO-PI nano-fibrous polymer films were analyzed after hot-pressing at 350℃. |
