제목 Lithographyless Fabrication of Chiral Materials in Nano- and Microscale
초록 The research on ‘chiral nanomaterials’ have drawn great attentions from various fields of researchers, since it emerged in the early of 2010s. The terminology of ‘chirality’ originates from molecular handedness of enantiomers with mirrored symmetry. Various types of nanofabrications with top-down and bottom-up approaches started to impart chiral characteristics to various artificial materials in nanoscale. In this presentation, there will be  introduction to the concurrent technologies for the fabrications of the artificial chiral materials in nano and microscales for the potential applications. In addition, lithography-free fabrication methods will be highlighted based on mechanical strain-induced bucklings. Outlook on the artificial materials with chirality will be presented.
