Carbon Dioxide emissions are the primary causation of global climate change. Recent development in electrochemical CO2 reduction opens new possibilities of utilization of CO2 as a carbon feedstock for fuel generation and commodity chemicals. Electrochemical CO2 reduction can generate electricity and high value added production. The most important things of electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction is Faradaic efficiency and selectivity. Herein, we report ZIF-8 with doping the diverse metal atoms for aiming C1 production of electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction. Especially, in case of doping copper on ZIF-8, it is shown that this composite facilitates high CO2 reduction activity and Faradaic efficiency about 80% towards converting CO2 to carbon monoxide the intermediate to continue the pathway absorption and desorption of electron-proton transfer for C2, C3 high valued production. |
