Characterization and Fractions of Extract with Antibacterial Activity |

This study was examined to the development of novel medicine for atopic dermatitis treatment using paeonia lactiflora. Paeonia lactiflora was extracted with various organic solvents (methanol(MeOH), n-hexane, ethylacetete(EtOAc), butanol(BuOH)), and antimicrobial activity against various bacteria was investigated by paper dice method. The chemical structure of extracts was identified by HPLC, FT-IR and 1H-NMR. This study was supported by IPET(Korea Institute of planning & Evaluation for Technology in Food, Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries) Research Fund in 2009. |
