제목 Preparation and Characterization of Conducting Polymer/Carbon Nanotube Composites using Polypyrrole Nanoparticles
초록 Polypyrroles(PPy) were fabricated by microemulsion polymerization. The size of PPy nanoparticles was controlled by the surfactant concentration and polymerization temperature. FT-IR, SEM and TEM were used to characterize their structures. the results showed that the carbon nanotube surfaces were partially covered with polypyrrole. The PPy nanoparticles showed enhanced conductivity compared to conventional bulk PPy/carbon nanotube composites. The PPy nanoparticles could be applied as composite electrod for supercapacitor due to their high conductivity and the nanosize effect.
