Drug delivery system can regulate the apsorption and release of drugs to treat disease and can transport durgs to target site of the body to reduce the side effects of the drug and improve the therapeutic effect at the target site of the drug. In this study, chitosan nanoparticles are prepared by cross-linking drug-absorbed chitosan with TPP. Chitosan has no toxicity in the body, biodegradable function, high apsorption ability and can carry drugs or other nanoparticles. GABA, used as a drug in this study, is an anti-stimulant drug for nerve cells that prevents high blood pressure, diabetes, inhibits mental anxiety such as insomnia, depression and suppresses obesity. By using Fe3O4, which is more stable and nontoxic than other metal materials, chitosan nanoparticls become magnetic and can deliver drugs to target sites. The synthesis of Fe3O4 was confirmed by XRD, EDX, VSM and FT-IR. GABA was confirmed by UV-Vis spectrum after Ninhydrin test. Size and morphology were confirmed by DLS and SEM. |
