제목 Synthesis and Self-Assembled Monolayer Studies of Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-Poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate] Rod-Coil Diblock Copolymer
초록 Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl mathacrylate] (PHIC-b-PTMSPMA) was synthesized via the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) with CuBr/N,N,N’,N”,N”-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) as a catalyst system. The monomer, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate (TMSPMA), was reacted in toluene with a macroinitiator, poly(n-hexylisocyanate) (PHIC-Br) which was synthesized by anionic polymerization. The PTMSPMA block in the diblock copolymer was bonded to silica substrate surface by immersion or dip-coating method. Organizational behaviors of the rodlike PHIC block which is grafted onto the substrate surface was studied using the atomic force microscope (AFM) and X-ray photoelectroscope(XPS).
