Self-assembly behavior and energy transfer properties of cholesterol-based bicomponent gel |
초록 |
A series of cholesterol-based organogelators were synthesized. Each gelator gelled in cyclohexane at a concentration of 2% (w/v) using a heat-cool method. ChS3-Naph self-assembled to a 3-dimensional sphere-like structure consisting of tortuously fibrous aggregates, and ChS3-Anth self-assembled to a sheet-like structure consisting of linear fibrous aggregates. In a mixture of ChS3-Naph and ChS3-Anth, small sphere-like structures, which were self-assembled structures of ChS3-Naph, were anchored sparsely onto the surface of a large sheet-like plate, which was a self-assembled structure of ChS3-Anth. Linear fibrous aggregates interpenetrated into the sphere, and two types of aggregates were combined through the entanglement of fibrous aggregates, which induced energy transfer from ChS3-Naph to ChS3-Anth. |
