In this study, we report a highly sensitive and quantitative electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor which is grafted onto lateral flow immunoassay (LFA) technique. We synthesized ruthenium conjugated target detection probes with nanoparticles such as gold nanoparticles and silica nanoparticles. The synthesized conjugate was used onto LFA for target detection. C-reactive protein was used for target model in this study. The typical LFA was well-known for high sensitivity, specificity, good stability and easy handling. The ECL technique which is grafted onto LFA was also widely used for high sensitive detection method in analytical chemistry. The sensitivity of target detection is improved with our LFA grafted ECL biosensor compared to traditional LFA system. Under optimize conditions such as reaction time, ECL coreactant concentration, it is able to improve the sensitivity and analyze quantitatively target in interest. |
