제목 Long-wavelength light responsive drug releasing mesoporous silica nanoparticle through photo-activated photosensitizer
초록 A long-wavelength light responsive drug releasing mesoporous silica nanoparticle (MSN) was prepared. By utilizing surface-pore biphasic structure of MSN, The model drug was decorated on the surface via singlet oxygen sensitive linker and the photosensitizer (PS) was loaded in the mesopores. Singlet oxygen generated from photo-activated PS by the irradiation of long-wavelength light readily broke the crosslinker between model drug and MSN, thus model drug was released. Our system showed an improved drug releasing profile under irradiation of long-wavelength light and a great light responsiveness. Since there are varieties of PS with different corresponding absorption wavelength, it can be concluded that our promising system shows the high potential for further biomedical application of spatially and temporally controllable drug releasing system.
