제목 Photosensitizer conjugated Gold nanoparticle for targeted cancer imaging and dual PDT/PTT therapy
초록 A multifunctional theranostic platform based on photosensitizer conjugated gold nanoparticle is developed for specific cancer cell targeting, imaging and dual therapy. The nano-size gold nanoparticle (AuNP) (~20 nm) has been investigated as a promising carrier in drug delivery. Additionally it has a photothermal therapy (PTT) effect in specific wavelength laser manner. Pheophorbide-A (PhA) is a second generation photodynamic therapy (PDT) agent, provides optical properties for diagnosis. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a biocompatible material use for targeting CD44 receptor of liver cancer cell. HA conjugated PhA can immobilized AuNP surface by gold-thiol interaction between gold and thiolated HA. In this study we indicate in vitro cell uptake and cancer cell treatment, demonstrating singlet oxygen generation and thermal therapy effect in specific laser wavelength. Therefore our HA-PhA/AuNP complex shows optical imaging and synergistic PDT/PTT treatments in targeting cancer cell effectively.
