Organic-inorganic hybrid materials are recognized as a new class of advanced materials because they can be synthesized or processed using versatile approaches and properties. Inorganic materials, such as silica, exhibit excellent thermal stability and hardness. Especially, the silica mesoporous materials have become known for their catalytic, optical, and semiconducting properties. Among aromatic polymers, polyimides exhibit good thermal and mechanical properties and lower dielectric constants than others. These hybrid materials have better thermal and mechanical properties than their parent materials. We have fabricated mesoporous materials through surfactant-templated condensation of tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS). Polyimides using trimellitic anhydride chloride (TAC) -4,4’-oxydianiline (ODA) are prepared through the two-step poly(amic acid) process. After hybrid, the films are fabricated through thermal imidization. In this work, we prepared and characterized the hybrid materials. |
