Ferroelectric Property of P(VDF/TrFE) Nanorods Fabricated by Using AAO Membrane |

We have investigated the ferroelectric property of poly(vinylidene fluoride)(VDF)-ran-poly(trifluoroethylene)(TrFE) copolymer[P(VDF/TrFE)] nonorods. P(VDF/TrFE) with VDF content between 50 and 80 mol% forms a ferroelectric β-phase when crystallized directly from molten state without any further stretching. P(VDF/TrFE) nanorods were fabricated by using an anodic aluminum oxide(AAO) membrane. The diameter of each nanorod was less than 100nm measured by field emission scanning electron microscopy . The ferroelectric property was measured via atomic force microscope with Pt-coated tip. |
