제목 The effect of gamma-ray irradiation on formation of silver nanoparticles in PVA film
초록 Silver nanoparticles have been widely used as optical and electronic nanodevices because of their high electrical and thermal conductivities. In this study, the effect of gamma-ray irradiation on the formation of silver nanoparticles in PVA film was examined aqueous PVA solution was poured on a petri dish, and then dried to make a PVA film. The PVA film was dipped in aqueous silver nitrate solution, and then was irradiated by gamma-rays to prepare silver nanoparticles. The silver nanoparticles in the PVA film were investigated by ultraviolet-visible spectrometer and field emission scanning electron microscope. The results showed that the silver nanoparticles film prepared in these processes have the potential for applications in nanodevices.
