제목 | Improvement of bioactivity of polymeric scaffolds using drug-carrying ceramic film |
초록 | The occurrence of bone diseases is rapidly increasing due to the increase in the elderly population. Hence, biomaterials applicable to effective restoration of damaged bone tissue is desirable. Recently, polymers with biocompatibility and degradability, such as poly(e-caploractone) and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid), are widely used as tissue substitutes. We prepared polymeric scaffold of which surface was modified with drug-carrying calcium phosphate. Result illustrated that the cellular responses, i.e. osteoblast proliferation and differentiation, were readily modulated by calcium phosphate and hybridized drug component. This technique can be further used for the treatment of biomaterial to improve bioactivity. |
