The use of coal, petroleum oil and the fossil fuel is increasing. Carbon dioxide exhausted from fossil fuel, coal, petroleum oil and natural gas, was known as greenhouse gases. A mineral carbonation could reduce CO2 caused greenhouse effect and climate change. The pretreatment of serpentine powders was conducted by ozone dissolved water. In this study, magnesium-rich serpentine was used. Chemical structure changes, crystallographic variation and other physicochemical properties were investigated by FT-IR, XRD and ICPMS. |
