제목 Synthesis of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes on Silicon wafer substrates
초록 Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were grown vertically on silicon wafer. Silicon wafer substrates coated with the polymer (Bisphenol A Diglycidyl Ether) and aluminum (Al) / iron (Fe) deposited using electron beam evaporation. CNTs were synthesized by using ethylene gas and water supplied by using the bubbler. Thickness of polymer layer changes the structure and morphology of CNTs. The morphology and structure of CNTs were observed with the field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). Using Raman spectroscopy in the breath mode region, single-walled or multi-walled carbon nanotubes can be determined.
