제목 Electrochromic properties of conducting polymer based on vapor phase polymerization and electropolymerization
초록 poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) have been receiving attention among conducting polymers, due to its optical property and environmental stability. Here we fabricated electrochromic (EC) devices using vapor phase polymerized (VPP) and electropolymerized (EP)PEDOT in liquid electrolyte EC devices. Cyclic voltammogram, UV-Vis absorbance spectra, and optical response were investigated. The EC response of VPP PEDOT was faster than EP one as 1.5 sec possibly due to its higher conduntivity and homogeneous surface morphology. Memory time was measured and VPP PEDOT showed longer duration time as 900 min (50 % reduction of its ΔABS at around 600 nm).
