제목 Study on Characteristics of Adhesive Material for Acryl Panel
초록 When acrylic panels are attached and used for interior and display, the confidentiality and defect control of the adhesive at the adhesive face are important. So, as the adhesive, it is desirable to use adhesive of the same material as the panel material. However, the adhesive is not widely used for transparent, visible, and structural adhesives due to the high viscosity that results from the use of solvents and the proper solid content. In order to solve this, we have been studying on bulk polymer having good transmittance with bubble free during process by controlling polymerization conditions. In this study, bulk polymer obtained at 70~90 °C was polymerized for 4~15 hours in a thermostatic bath at 35~55 °C to obtain good transparent and bubble free acryl panel having tensile strength of 22~47 Mpa, pencil hardness of 3~5, specific gravity of 1.18. The acrylic panel with a Tg of 105 °C was subjected to a heat treatment at 80 to 120 °C for 1 hour to obtain a pencil hardness of 4H and a tensile strength of 70 Mpa or more without changing the specific gravity.
