제목 Synthesis and optical properties of new alternating copolymer based on PCPP and BT for LEDs.
초록 The efficient energy transfer due to exciton trapping on narrow band gap heterocycle sites has been observed. Significant enhancement in the external quantum efficiencies of electroluminescence by exciton confinement in the random copolymers that have regions of different energy gap within a single chain was reported first by Burn et al. In this contribution the novel copolymers was synthesized by palladium-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction from 4,4-diethylhexylcyclopenta[def]-phenanthrene and 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole. The photoluminescence spectra of the polymers as in solution(THF) were 528nm. It appears that theses polymers have green emission. The luminescence characteristics based on the prepared copolymers depend on the Förster energy transfer or the intramolecular charge transfer. Theses polymers are a candidate for emissive materials in polymer light-emitting diodes.
