Recently, organic semiconductors blended with polymeric binders have been the topic of intensive investigations as a promising approach to formulate organic semiconductor ink. In this work, we report the first demonstration for centro-apical self-organization of organic semiconductors in a line-printed organic semiconductor:polymer blend. This work provides how to control the dimensions of each component phase in the printed blend pattern, as well as discussions on the possible mechanism on the centro-apical self-organization. As a proof of concept, a centro-apically phase-separated bilayer structure of organic semiconductor:polymer blend was successfully demonstrated as a facile method to form the semiconductor and dielectric layer for OFETs at one-step go. |
