The studies of particulate reinforced composites have been conducted for many years. The nanocomposites to be studied vigorously in recent years are one of them. In last study, we reported about functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNTs) with monoethanolamine(MEA) or diethanolamine(DEA) and their epoxy nanocomposites. In this study, we report about aging effects of MWCNTs/epoxy nanocomposites under thermal circumstance, oil and acid. Change of mechanical properties between before and after test was analyzed through flexural test, oil content after test was measured through changes of weight of specimens. The effect of the circumstance on thermal properties was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). In addition, the morphology of composites was to be observed by Field emission-scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM). |
