Synthesis and Characterization of an Ionic Polyacetylene Derivative via the Non-catalyst Polymerization of Ethynylpyridines |
초록 |
A new class of ionic polyacetylenes has been synthesized via the non-catalyst polymerization of ethynylpyridines by the substituted functional halides. Here, we prepared a new ionic polyacetylene with N-substituted pyridinium substituents via the uncatalyzed polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine by the cyclic compound such as 1,3-propanesultone. The polymers were completely soluble in such organic solvents as DMF, NMP, and DMSO including water. The kinetics of the redox process of polymer were found to be controlled by the reactant diffusion process from the experiment of the current oxidation density of polymer versus the scan rate. |
