제목 Li-ion Battery for Automobile Applications
초록 Increased human activity accelerates the green house gas emission, resulting in global warming. Our energy consumption resulted from human activity relies heavily on fossil fuels about 67% of which goes into the electricity generation and the transportation.It is not too much to say that the CO2 emission from the combustion vehicles is mainly responsible for the global warming.One of the disruptive technologies for substantial reduction in carbon dioxide is the electric vehicles.The main reason why the electric vehicles era has been coming so late is that the battery performance is not sufficient.In this presentation, the development of Lithium ion battery for the automobile applications is described, specially the electrochemical cell, module and pack technology.Last but not least, some R&D acitivities on the next generation lithium battery is introduced.
