제목 High-Performance Organic Field-Effect Transistors Using Inkjet-Printed Reduced Graphite Oxide/Poly (vinyl alcohol) Composite Electrodes
초록 The characteristics of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) using conductive reduced graphite oxide (RGO)/poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) composite electrodes were studied. RGO solution was blended with PVA for suitable inkjet printing. Inkjet-printed RGO/PVA composite showed a high conductivity and a work function of 4.5 eV, which is adequate for source/drain electrodes in OFETs. It was shown that a high field-effect mobility of 0.14 cm2/Vs was obtained in pentacene bottom -contact field-effect transistors. This enhanced performance compared to Au electrode, which showed low field effect mobility of ~10-2cm2/Vs, was attributed to the difference in molecular orientation of pentacene films on each electrode as confirmed by X-ray diffraction. Finally, all carbon based flexible OFETs were successfully demonstrated using inkjet-patterned RGO/PVA composite electrodes on plastic substrate.
