Surface modification of poly(vinyl chloride) films by low temperature plasma |
| 초록 |
Low temperature plasma treatment is frequently used for improving surface functionality and surface activity. Poly(vinyl chloride) in a form of thin film is treated for modification by low temperature plasma. The changes of surface properties are monitored by contact angle measurements allowing the calculation of surface free energy. Weight loss is also monitored. Through AFM analysis, the change of surface morphology and roughness are observed. The change of chemical compositions on poly(vinyl chloride) film surface is investigated through XPS. |
